Q: Does Advance Maxi supply baby seats?
A: Yes we do supply up to two baby capsules/child restraints free of cost. A $15.00 charge is applicable for the third capsules/child restraints. Maximum three child seat/booster seat can be provided in one single vehicle.
Q: Is there any penalty/fee for soiling the vehicle ? i.e : vomiting in the car or spilling drinks
A: Yes. If the vehicle is soiled, drivers may legally charge an additional “cleaning fee” . The amount varies upon the nature of the soiling. The same applies if any passenger soils the car in any other manner. Cleaning fees for vomiting in the vehicle may cost up to $250.00
Q: Why does it cost extra to use my credit/debit card?
A: All Maxi Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles are fitted with electronic payment system, when is used, the merchants charge the cardholder a credit card/EFTPOS transaction fee of 5%. This surcharge may be added automatically or manually depending on the type of merchant terminal you driver is using. You may pay cash or through Paypal to avoid the merchant fee.
A: You may contact us via phone or email bookings@advancemaxitaxi.com.au . Lost property is generally handed in to the office within 24 – 48 hours of being located. If property is left behind in a taxi, drivers have the right to charge a standard fare to return the item if requested. Alternatively, items may be left in our office for collection. (Items are held for a maximum of one month). However, if goods are left in the boot of the vehicle, it is the driver’s responsibility to return these items as soon as possible at no additional charge.
Unfortunately we are not always able to locate missing property so we encourage passengers to take care to ensure they have all belongings before exiting the vehicle. Mobile phones, keys, bank cards and wallets are the most common things left behind in a taxi so please double check you have all of your belongings when exiting the cab.
Q: Is there any cancellation Fee?
A: There is a $10.00 administrative fee for booking cancellation. No fee will be charged in case of change in travel date. Please note that your calculated fare might be different if your amended pick up time falls within pick hour time frame
Q: Do you accept Cabcharge ?
A: We only accept Cabchage if you book a Maxi Taxi service on metered fare through us. Please advice us if you require to pay with a Cabcharge. Please note that our “Set Fare” option is not available for Cabcharge payment.
Q: Can we use your service to deliver alcohol?
A: No, we do not transport alcohol or any kind of intoxicants
